anyone can make a subject and embed it into space, there's fractal dimensions so you always have room. use conformal mapping to do renormalization around anything. you embed a kind of daemon programming language in it, program makes an assessment on whether something was true.

no i don't think this, i think the most important key is that you have control of your own context, BUT there is also a system for placing bets that are then remembered. this is mainly to clear out bullshit / bullshitters.

best example i have is with @snigdahr0y, we helped close schools in NYC. she kept asking me how to be safe in school, avoiding covid19 and I was like "basically, you can't, you should stop going" and when she said this on her whatsapp group she got attacked by bullshitters...1/2

...I realized this was analogous to the asymmetry in the options markets -- people totally under-appreciating change. so I said, make a bet that schools will close, i'll back you. suddenly, narrative was "how can I lose, i either win $100 or school's out." schools closed in ~2wks

right. so *actually* idiots attacked her for 2 wks and then they didn't even pay up. some friend and i sent her more than she would have gotten if she had received it, but it just goes to show that these thought spaces are dominated by bullshitters. all of them should be smaller

yeah it's a useful thing to do to prevent low cost bullshit from taking over discussion. i'm not sure how critical it is in the general case, but it's troll deterrent
