How long did it take for the world to find out about Chernobyl? It was only until the G counters in adjacent countries started to record unseen radiation levels...Had Russia been able to contain it, they would have never told the world. Same with China...suppress info AMAP

You can't suppress things that are at this level of scale in this day of ubiquitous connected devices. Ppl who watch China were clued in on this in December, including (no surprise) the intelligence agencies the world over.
