If “autism” is being unable to understand “normal people” and normal people are killing themselves with ignorance and stubbornness and self-righteous denial of the facts who is truly mentally ill? It seems that “normal” society is as it is causing illness from their mindset.

I've had this hunch for a while that languages and other tools can be developed to better translate and interface communication and co-ordination between "normal" and "autistic" people and there would be a significant reduction of any currently perceived differences.

I mean yea, just speak to them literally if they're verbal or visually if they're nonverbal... you just have to cut out the weird body language and say what you mean!

Hmm... the crisis we are facing is that "normal" people are not "just speaking" to each other "literally" as you said, so that there is a development of understanding and empathy between the two or more parties communicating. People are simply fighting with their minds closed.

If they have their minds closed then there's no way to communicate to them unless you can basically slip in your message and get past the backfire effect. That's basically manipulation but honestly that's how human brains work and it's a pretty giant glitch...

I've been able to do this for some people by pretending to agree with them totally using half-truths and gradually slide to explaining my viewpoints by asking them questions and getting their brain to have cognitive dissonance.

Imo about the nicest thing you can do for people.

I don't like doing it because it is manipulation but I can't really find a better way.
