The other nite just after 1 AM police brutality of a young black man was on my door step. I heard a loud crash and my neighbors son begging for help, his mom, and his inhaler. I went to help and cops drew their guns on me

There were 4 white cops and my neighbors kid who is 19 on my step. He was crying. I didn’t think to record because I was in the process of dialing 911 when I realized it was the police with guns drawn. One pointed his gun and flash lite at me and told me to go back inside

My neighbor told me today that they took him in then released him. Told him he had to walk home. The reason why the cops went after him was because he was walking home.

I told my neighbor she needed to go public with this. That they can not get away with brutality. And that I would support her.

“My son is shook “ she told me. He’s not from the South she said. He is only one 19. His only crime was being black. I know this kid. He’s polite, courteous and well mannered. My neighbors are good ppl. No one deserves to be targeted by law enforcement because of their race

She took pictures of his scars from where they beat him up. I told her to share his story. This needs to be stopped.

That’s not necessarily true but in some areas of the country where racism seems to be barely out of the 1960’s it’s more true.
