i’m not sure but i recall the lifetime around ~8 hours (need checking for sure) this would deactivate overnight possibly.

Unless the mask is fully made of copper it will not kill all viruses (I think). To deactivate viruses landed on a cloth mask you just need to put it in boiling water or so. A copper-rich mask could be good when you don’t have access to heaters/sun/soap.

I've lined the edges of one of my old N95's with copper tape - so the areas that I most handle, & that touch my face, may be mildly hostile to deposited virus
