like it’s been a double bind for women like me because there is a suspicion from all sides. the only suitable technique has been to avoid revealing my power.

yeah... suspicion! lack of trust... this trust-issue is a huge roadblock people seem to lack the ability to recognize "quality" hence we have the pricing problem (attempted to be solved through trading markets...) which is basically the value problem: how valuable is something

what i recall the most about the book is, the vibe of his lifelong exasperation with trying to figure/explain 'Quality" trust comes from recognition of "Quality" in people like wealth comes from doing work or labor on the 'Quality' in nature. i don't know if i'm making sense

it's like, this whole, felt-sense about things, you know... and reason on the other hand, is breaking things apart to scrutinize how the patterns are... i guess, reason is driven by suspicion, and Quality drives trust, taste, intuition, wisdom...
