If you aren't a pathologist, medical professional, health and public policy expert, doctor, healthcare provider, epidemiologist or a person who is taking their warnings seriously when it comes to COVID-19, maybe just stay in your lane.

I disagree. This attitude is the key problem with the world, from my perspective. Nobody gives enough credit.

"a person who is taking their warnings seriously when it comes to COVID-19" <--- covers everybody who bothers to connect with a wide array of people who are either experts or experienced. so i don't get what you're saying.

*maybe* stay in your lane. stay in your lane when you don't have the facts and/or any actually valuable insights or directions to give. get it? like against idle chatter.

the problem is the extreme -- EXTREME -- self and other and AI based censorship, latency imposition, moderation, and polarization. Also we are all constantly off balance. Makes non-linear thoughts "impossible" thus change is impossible. If change is impossible: doom!

This is beyond the suggestion I intended. While I respect all you are saying and actually agree? I don't see how you're reading this all into what I said -- besides perhaps the wordplay I engaged in, the phrase "stay in your lane."

well, I hate the term "stay in your lane." it's dumb when the road is going to explode.

Question: did you realize that was wordplay because of this? https://www.cnbc.com/2020/03/06/teslas-elon-musk-says-the-coronavirus-panic-is-dumb.html … Sorry I didn't link it. But I thought it was sad he downplayed covid-19 and how people are responding to its emergence, especially in vulnerable groups where many have reason to feel panicked.
