If you aren't a pathologist, medical professional, health and public policy expert, doctor, healthcare provider, epidemiologist or a person who is taking their warnings seriously when it comes to COVID-19, maybe just stay in your lane.

I disagree. This attitude is the key problem with the world, from my perspective. Nobody gives enough credit.

"a person who is taking their warnings seriously when it comes to COVID-19" <--- covers everybody who bothers to connect with a wide array of people who are either experts or experienced. so i don't get what you're saying.

*maybe* stay in your lane. stay in your lane when you don't have the facts and/or any actually valuable insights or directions to give. get it? like against idle chatter.

Lora, there is nuance here. Many experts in the categories you named -- on this topic have been *disastrously* wrong. Also many people with random opinions have been *disastrously* wrong. Signal has been not always tied to *expert status*

Tap into this concept: https://tricycle.org/magazine/right-speech/ … You're assuming I'm saying all people who bring something to the table must be experts. Not so! Being fresh to a subject, tho? Worth studying what experts and experienced people have to say before blabbing. Question + wonder always.

Lora, having dedicated nearly 600 hours to breaking through the knowledge barriers here, respectfully you have no idea. Also, I don’t have time to talk about this now. Let’s revisit in a month.

I think you are misinterpreting me. IMO, all points of view are welcome. However, I want people to think and consider their impact and limits of their knowledg before they proclaim "truths." Avoid lying, divisive or abusive speech & idle chatter. Stakes are high.

Stakes are indeed high. If we prepare in the wrong way, it will likely be more harmful to our society than planning rationally. Planning rationally/carefully is the opposite of planning out of haste. To me, this is a positive statement:. Don't panic, but plan carefully.
