You can bet that @ElonMusk and @JeffBezos are on the side of the future.

This is something I've rigorously looked into. Elon and Jeff are great inventors and they could exist with higher taxes and less subsides. But in that world, Amazon workers have health care when Jeff wants to restructure or when Elon is done building a specific project.

Look into
@AnandWrites. Read his book. Investigate the 40s, 50s, 60s of American wealth distribution. Then investigate today. It's absolutely sickening how many people in this thread literally don't have a clue. It's sickening because the results are on the streets of SF.2 replies 1 retweet 2 likes -

I totally agree that the wealth inequality is an absurd problem. 99% of it needs to get overwritten, but like, Elon and Jeff deserve credit for fucking standing up through all of this -- alongside our hermits, monks, unemployed, etc. Trump too, if he really fights this.

I'm honestly not as eloquent as i used to be on this topic. I *strongly suggest* you read to Anand's book Winner Takes All.

I don’t actually find this near as much of a problem as most of the solutions which end up giving everyone much more even pieces of a much smaller pie. Socialism eliminates income inequality at the expense of income, making everyone equally poor.

Even Bernie isn't advocating for true socialism. He's taken the name to defuse the lies. He's advocating for a fairer distribution curve. If you're not an owner, it's not fair. Even VP roles get screwed.

Bernie has little shot now. Like them or not the DNC blew him up on Super Tuesday. Not only by getting all the people in Biden’s lane out, but by asking Warren to stay in Bernie’s lane. Had the whole field gone in. Bernie would have a commanding lead. Now he is toast.

I sadly agree that this is seemingly what happened. But time will confirm what happened.

I think the system is self fucking, who knows what the outcome is, but it is not good for American prestige, I can tell you that.
