I read that you need N95 masks. Not sure this is accurate but you can get them at hardware stores or any place online that sells yarn dyeing supplies (there’s obviously a reason I’m here for this

factually, N95 helps a bit but is not much protection to one's person; it must be secured properly around the nose (you have to pinch it) and after one use it must be treated as contaminated, as it forms a layer which can breed bacteria and viruses (from you!)

these are maybe a 60-80% protection thing, so it's advisable to do if you have no other options. the biggest way it improves things is preventing you touching your nose/mouth with your hands, the second is that it keeps germs in -- and it's semi functional in keeping germs out

also! practice the correct method of washing your hands (check youtube!) and do it regularly when you use doorhandles! and get your love ones to correct you when you touch your face with your hands! you probably need to be corrected 30-50x to get it fully practiced!
