Can you cascade please. I’m trying to ‘cut through the bull’ but I’m no epidemiologist

I have yet to see beyond n=1 evidence of a single Asian male in a large cohort having upregulated ACE2 as measured via RNA-Seq. The other studies contradict population differences in larger cohorts. Nicotine and smoking does upregulate ACE2.

So this hypothesis is likely to be more to do with smoking habits in Asian culture than a genetic propensity ? Ok. As I said, I am not an epidemiologist. Happy to have it proven as irrelevant.
