Like the woman who wasn't asymptomatic after all, I wonder if some mild and vague symptoms are missed (fatigue, headache) or that haven't always been attributed to CV (GI issues). What symptoms are they considering beyond fever and SOB?

I am sure it is a continuum. People don’t really have their alarms set off by a dry cough, low fever, malaise, vomiting or diarrhea. Anti-inflammatory drugs mask symptoms, as in the case reported in the NEJM

Japanese study: half of infection spread during asymptomatic period (or low symptom period, it’s a continuum — dry coughs happen all the time) period.
