Sure, compare a runner at the starting line to someone 5 miles down the road. People that talk like this are going to be deleting their tweets in about 5 months.

Why does everyobody compare this damn flu to racing, this analogy is tiring. The Flu in America is a huge issue. Many people still jave not received the vaccine. Kids, elderly and people with compromised immune systems are at risk.

CDC website: "does not know the exact number of people who have been sick" yet spews out percentages of how effective it is. Big pharma rakes in BILLIONS regardless of effectiveness. Any other company sold a product and did this and people would scream for blood.

It has already been confirmed by Thailand that it is pretty easy to kill off the virus. The reason people are dying is because either they already have poor immune systems (babies and older people) or they don’t have access to medical support. It’s not that big of a deal

That’s ignorant. No antiviral is particularly effective, and it cannot scale to what is happening in China now, much less a pandemic. This level of severity is terrible already in a disease that can be this contagious. 2/3rd of medical professionals in Wuhan hospitals infected.

My bad, I should have said I meant the US is okay from the virus (as I have seen tons of comments of people locking themselves in their own homes). But i do agree China is in dire help, as the population density over there is insane.

It’s going to cause outbreaks in the USA, and I don’t think we are adequately prepared. The CDC is good, but could get swamped with just a few super spreaders from E.G. that cruiseship unloading in New Jersey or the 22000 passengers per *day* flown in from China before Late Jan.
