So you assert that this pathogen is not aerosol based ? It is close proximity droplets/saliva etc ? Does that square with the volume of cases from ships in japan etc ?notorious incubators through a/c

No, it can definitely get in aerosol form, tiny droplets in the air, that’s what aerosol means; it could be from coughing, sneezing, even flushing a toilet. But, there are no indications it’s like a cloud of infectious air like Ebola, it seems to settle and survive on surfaces

Does it seem to be sometimes transmitted as an airborne cloud?

The Chinese are now confirming that this aerosolization is one of the main transmission methods, alongside direct contraction and droplet->surface->hand->nose/mouth/eyes contraction We don’t have estimates of the length of persistence or infectivity of cloud (shorter than ebola)

who knows what makes one meme get picked up at a certain time or not, I have been tweeting about this for days. Coronavirus is actually big enough to get caught in a good HEPA filter (400nm-500nm), though TSLAQ folks thought it was smaller and claimed leaks made it moot.
