This was great! Loved the bit on serializing and deserializing. To push back: (1) flow is over-rated. If you can do something in flow, it's probably better off outsourced. It _feels_ good, but it's actually a mistake to be in flow too often.

People are usually in flow when they're performing some well-understood, well-rehearsed skill. Those are usually things where there's a well-established labour market. By contrast, when you're operating in an unprecedented way you're doing something unique...
