The most important aspect of Twitter's new features is not who can respond to which tweets It's how the feed will prioritize these different types of tweets. Or if they will split into multiple feeds

Oh yeah, i'm pro this decision. Am generally less interested in anyone posting allowing *no* responses at all. But think this should plus all the others should for sure be options. And need to address all the gradients between private and totally public

Would be neat to include a temporal / social concept — there’s a real difference in intent between a comment on an event, an offhand observation, a waypoint in one’s body of work, a public statement and a public note to one’s future self, Better controlled than inferred
