I'm going to pin this top tweet so that this thread, which is full of some of the best classical music in the world, will be right at the top of my Twitter, should anyone want to access it.

Did you... did you study the history before making this movie?

That final response sums up the woke White American Left better than anything I've ever seen.

I’m sorry, what??? The author who *literally stalked* a reviewer and drove to her house is now going to make money off of said stalking by recounting the experience in this book??

    4) I doubt most people will care (the response to this thread so far suggests as much). That in itself is testament to the way in which hundreds of thousands of Mizrachi Jews (Jews from mostly Muslim countries) are whitewashed by the "woke", intersectional left. (Thread ends)

    3) So you can have cases, like here, where Jews who fled from a country see that country, from which they were forced to flee, asserting its rights to things which were taken from them because these "belong to the country" It's like having something taken from you twice over.

    2) Western governments are more keen these days to ensure that they're not seen to be stealing artefacts belonging to other countries. But what happens when said artefacts are from a community which was driven out of said countries? eg. Jews from all over the Middle East.

    1) I'm not claiming this story as any sort of exclusive - I believe the first part of it, about the finding of the archive itself, has been reported on before. What IS new, as far as I'm aware, is the discussion of the ongoing struggle over ensuring the safety of the archive.

Here's a short thread on a piece I'm very happy to have written for this week's paper (it's around 2,000 words, if you're looking for a long read over lunch)

I wonder how many 'average workers' can borrow £400k from their employer to buy a luxury flat and be able to repay it in full within two years?
