Offering only yearly subscriptions seem underutilized, particularly for new products. When someone gets 12 monthly subscription receipts, they have to make 12 decisions throughout the year about whether to keep paying you. Yearly affords you more time to prove your worth.

Obviously it's not that easy, but it's worth testing if you can make it work. It might even help a lot of other things downstream.

It’s a bit customer unfriendly, no? I wouldn’t be psyched to sign up for a year for something I wasn’t even sure I wanted yet.

I disagree. It depends on a lot of things, but i don't think any pricing is specifically customer unfriendly.
