I don't even have the words to express how annoying this sentiment is, from an interview with a design agency founder. I don't know a single freelancer who takes for granted how hard it is to get work. And many still have enough.pic.twitter.com/EfsLJBSa2d

I don't read that this interviewer is suggesting freelancers take for granted how hard it is to get work. In fact, the opposite: those who *haven't* tried to freelance FT have some magical thinking as to how easy/flexible/prosperous it is.

Yeah I'm just saying I've never heard that sentiment from any of the freelancers I know or work with. They all know they're trading something safer for other benefits. The only people I know who think freelancers work that much less are full-time employees.

          Isn’t that literally their point?

No I'm saying they're making a strawman argument about freelancers and people glorifying leaving the safety of agency life. The 2nd half of that screenshot about their team appreciating what they have and the work they put in is great. Just say that. Leave out the 1st half.
