So, in effect, capital holders receive more returns than their input deserved in many situations. And relative to their situation, are affected much less by the downside. I understand why. But it's also a major limitation for our society, and why we have many current problems.

Simply put: You can't do much without capital. So we go to people with capital to help. They demand more control than they deserve just because they have capital, which turns into a bigger share of returns than that role is worth. So then they have more. Cycle repeats.

This line of thinking, long held but still not fully formed, is behind some of the messages I've sent entrepreneurs in our community in recent months. Less of an ethical issue in those situations, more of a "what are you doing to fix this systematic issue?" question.
