One thing we’re trying with @ArrowsHQ is something I call “demand-driven product development.”
Find+capture demand from customers before you build out the full product. Distribution is much more difficult than product development. Front-load and de-risk it when possible.
Which also is why we are making small tools you can use alongside/on-top-of any existing tool or process you have. It should lower or remove switching costs. But it gets people into the Arrows ecosystem.
So that’s our general product strategy.

It seems like a neat experiment. How do you determine whether you need to keep iterating on a failing idea until it works? Seems like you’d be betting on instant hits, no?

This sound similar to MVP advice, but without having a clear product that's your aiming for. Rather, you release a small thing and see where users want it to go. Have I understood the gist of what you're saying?
