Years ago, I thought the advice "just personalize *1* sentence in your cold emails" was dumb. Wouldn't smart ppl see through that? Well, people do see through that, but it's still valuable. 90% of the cold emails I get these days are generic. That one sentence is Proof of Work.

Exactly. Better to customize even more, but at least an opener/subject shows that you’re human and taking care to target someone specifically. (We’re building a tool to help with this exact process specifically)
