Similar to @jasonfried’s post about waiting more (https://m.signalvnoise.com/putting-on-some-wait/ …), I’ve been slowing down my consumption of books and podcasts. Trying to spend more time with each. Enjoying it so feel.

I mostly listen to comedy podcasts and it definitely, totally makes them funnier and punchier. But it's a venue that isn't big on dead air so the smart speed stuff makes a lot of sense.

While a well formulated question and natural response to a poorly named feature, what if there is more to gain by questioning the construct of the feature itself? Is it speed that makes us smart? Have you seen Arrival? What if language was inherently constructed to not... (1/2)
