    We just finished an Instagram filter for a big site. It’s pretty sick. (“We” = mostly & ) Luckily we get to talk about it soon & make a case study. But I think there’s a fun business in making these. It’s awesome brand marketing, w/ the right creative team.

    We’re not perfect, but it’s our goal. Re: money... When talking about pay, I’ve started asking “what’s the most you’ve billed yourself out at?” So they know I’m not looking to undercut. We like to help people raise their rates, if we can. Just figuring it out together. 🤷🏻‍♂️

    As we subcontract more people on client projects, I realized our actions point to a key guiding principle: We want to be your favorite studio to work with. We’re fun. We treat you as a partner. And we fight on your behalf to increase your pay (+ pay quickly).

    One thing I keep thinking about after talking to : He paused the conversation multiple times to reiterate something we'd said which had triggered a new thought for him. It was great for pushing the conversation in the right direction. I loved that.

    Never shared this tattoo i got in Lisbon. "Não Sei" means "I don't know." Glad I finally have an answer for when people ask "What's this tattoo mean?" And for, let's be honest, when someone asks what I'm doing.
