People cared about al-Nimr, and there was coverage. However, he was not considered a journalist, and was arrested and prosecuted in Saudi Arabia, as opposed to being abducted (and murdered) in a foreign country (a NATO ally at that).
Will someone explain why, when the Saudis disposed of Nimr al-Nimr, almost no one in the West cared, whereas there's a mega-furor over @JKhashoggi? They were both totalitarian #Islamists murdered by the identical regime.
