That's only true if you order the elements MM/DD/YYYY or DD/MM/YYYY. If you instead order them YYYY/MM/DD, which is the more sensible order (it allows sorting easily), then this century we previously had 2010/01/02 and 2011/11/02 and there's 2021/12/02 still to come.
