BREAKING: The Ukrainian Army confirms that the Russian forces have fled the city of Svatove. Earlier in the day, videos from the city of Starobilsk further east made it appears as if Russian troops were leaving that city too. It could help Ukraine outflank Severodonetsk.

Ukraine would be fine even with only the US and Poland backing them at this point. Even if Biden dies, it doesn't change anything. Someone who might pull the support isn't going to have that option until at least 2025 and establishment Republicans mostly support Ukraine anyway.

If anything, there's going to be far more support for Ukraine now. Russia cut off gas entirely on their own. They essentially sanctioned themselves when the EU wasn't willing to do it. Countries like France and especially Germany also saw military support as a losing cause.
