As always, Matthew Prince () is full of shit. Kiwi Farms has spent years openly coordinating and supporting extreme doxxing, harassment and libel campaigns aimed at pushing trans and autistic people to kill themselves. It didn't just escalate.

In the past few days, Kiwi Farms extended their doxxing, harassment and libel beyond the usual targets. They started targeting people criticizing Cloudflare for hosting them who are not themselves autistic, trans, etc. Middle aged, neurotypical, straight white guys were targeted.

From 's perspective, targeting trans and autistic people with extreme harassment openly aimed at getting them to kill themselves and celebratory when they have succeeded at that in the past is valid political speech. Kiwi Farms mistake was targeting people like him.

Cloudflare has also finally filtered kiwifarms . net in their 'family friendly' 1.1.1.3 DNS service in response to my post calling attention to it. They've made an explicit decision to NOT block the other site I brought up: the Daily Stormer. It still resolves fine via 1.1.1.3.

1.1.1.3 is Cloudflare's censorship service providing 'family friendly' DNS which is known for 'mistakenly' filtering out lots of non-adult LGBTQ content even after they apologized. It's not clear to me why Cloudflare very clearly considers nazi propaganda to be family friendly.

Cloudflare very clearly gave in to the pressure campaign. It's truly pathetic how they present themselves as blazing a trail of free speech. Reason they dropped Kiwi Farms is simple: bad for business.
