I honestly fail to see what's wrong with CF offering a separate public DNS that adheres to their own morality standards. Morality is subjective, and when building such service you obviously can't please everyone.

According to them, providing services which filter the available content based on their morality isn't what they believe in doing. They consider it moral to provide Kiwi Farms with resources reducing costs because they seem to somehow see what they do there as political speech.

They say it would be extremely problematic for them to filter content because they see themselves as core infrastructure like DNS.
They offer filtered DNS with filters almost entirely based on what third parties decide counts as adult content. That's not their own morality.

I don't use Cloudflare's public DNS, so I couldn't care less. I have my own thing at home that blocks ads and malware.

My point is that no one is forcing you to use 1.1.1.3. Just use whatever DNS you like.

Not really. It's just another product you have to opt in to use. If someone doesn't want adult only content its obvious he doesn't want sex worker forums

That's not at all what is being discussed. Cloudflare banned Switter from using their DDoS protection service while keeping Kiwi Farms as a client.
Separately from that, Cloudflare's censored DNS blocks many non-adult LGBT sites but doesn't block Kiwi Farms, Daily Stormer, etc.
