One of the sex worker sites they banned from their main services was just a Mastadon instance for sex workers to talk to each other (Switter). They banned that, but not Kiwi Farms. theverge.com/2018/4/19/1725 Government never ordered them to ban this. It was entirely their choice.

An excuse from Cloudflare doesn't make it a reasonable justification. They weren't asked to take down the site. If they had been, they could have told them to fuck off and taken it to court. They went out of the way to remove sites tied to sex workers and justified it that way.

Cloudflare is trying to portray themselves as a champion of free speech to justify hosting Kiwi Farms and other despicable content. Kiwi Farms exists to push autistic and trans people to kill themselves through doxxing/harassment/libel of people and their family, friends, etc.

A major part of what Kiwi Farms exists to do is to silence people and push them out of the public space. A lot of what they do is illegal, not that legality is morality. They're not simply anti-autistic, anti-trans, etc. They target individuals with extreme harassment campaigns.

A lot of speech in the US is protected from government interference. There are still laws against spreading libel and harassing people the way they do. It's not even protected speech from the US government. At some point there's going to be law enforcement intervention. Why wait?
