I'm not American and I don't follow either of the US political parties. Both of those parties would take issue with my anti-authoritarian, anti-statist, anti-corporate, etc. views. I'm sure we disagree on a lot of political topics but that doesn't make me into your enemy.

Also, Russia invaded Ukraine in 2014 after it started rapidly moving out of their sphere of influence. They wanted to annex the whole thing this year. Being against an imperial war of conquest aimed at getting land, resources, people and wiping out a culture is not left wing.

Most people around the world are against the invasion regardless of their political views. Ukrainians would still be fighting against Russia regardless of whether they were getting military support from the US, EU, etc. It was never a winning proposition for Russia long-term.

Before 2014, Ukrainians were split on wanting to be closer to Russia or the US. Russia pushed them away with their invasion, and now they've sealed the deal forever. Ukrainians including most Russian-speaking and ethnic Russians will hate Russia as a country for decades now.
