I'd still prefer a single democratic state with explicit protections for all groups indigenous to the land encoded in the constitution but also my view is a fringe minority view among Jewish Israelis and I can't magically change all of public opinion and policy

I doubt that Palestinians living in the West Bank would prefer being part of the same state as Israel as opposed to being Jordanian citizens as they were before. Even turning Gaza and the West Bank into one state is completely impractical, and both governments ended elections.

They would need to hold elections in both Gaza and the West Bank where they elected a government with serious interest in peace and forming a state. Israeli settlements are essentially Israel's right wing trying to block Israel from a peace deal with a theoretical future state.
