Despite not being a hardened OS, they tried to portray it as a successor and filling the same niche and have doubled down on that despite also doubling down on reducing rather than improving security, etc. With all their attacks across platforms, I can't think of a bigger enemy.

We can't be shipping software from a group of people heavily invested in doing this:

That's not an isolated incident or just one person. It's a group of them, and it's the group of people who took over that project.

Several F-Droid developers are involved in repeatedly engaging in bullying, harassment and libel towards me. I've archived a thread with the latest example of it here:

Many previous examples including twitter.com/DanielMicay/st. Other devs are involved.

In the past couple days, they tried to sabotage our collaboration with another project and almost succeeded. Still need to work things out with that project because of it. Ideally we'd just replace the backup app completely but it's hard to fit that in. Android 13 port right now.

Yeah, seems like a lot of your energy is sucked up by this stuff. Sorry to hear that. I know at least one of the current Calyx people, and they always seemed reasonable (albeit with different priorities than GrapheneOS).

I wish projects could each just pursue their goals and share code when those goals overlap.
That would also free GrapheneOS from having to come up with own solutions for everything.
But I know that if things don't work on a human level, it just becomes too difficult.

Or I can get millions of dollars of funding and completely obsolete all their projects across the board with far superior ones made by far more competent people.

Haha, sounds like a plan.
Then again, it's also good to not have everything on your own plate. I still hope that reason will win at the end, people stop fighting you, and that there can be cooperation between different projects.

There will not be cooperation with abusers. It is not a disagreement or fight. They have engaged in completely despicable behavior for far too long as a group. There is no resolution beyond everyone in their group permanently leaving the privacy and open source worlds for good.

I'm not interested in any discussion or resolution aside from their departure from the industry. I've had enough of the daily fabricated stories, libel, bullying and harassment from them. It's enough and what has to be done to end it will be done. They wanted a war and have it.

In war there are not actually any limits or rules in reality. They have gone way past any reasonable lines of behavior. Few people seem to care about the harm they are causing and absolute despicable behavior they've engaged in to do that. That's fine. I can solve it on my own.

I do not think you understand the severity of what has been going on and the need for extreme measures in response to end their ability to continue doing it. This is not some disagreement or people who don't get along with each other. It's a group of abusers who took it too far.
