Update: Bose acknowledges that the returned product was delivered to their location on July 5, while also saying they haven't received it, and I'm just out $160 for an unknown period of time until they locate the package they definitely didn't lose.

Either a scammer or Bose support telling me to call an invalid number. Hard to say which.

Disputing the charge via credit card company tends to work. Result is usually that the company will correct the problem and refund it. Might as well do that because it doesn't take that long to file disputes online for most banks. It forces the company to respond to the dispute.
