Since the pathetic denial of service attacks on our infrastructure have completely failed over the past few days, the trolls have switched to subscribing my personal email address and multiple GrapheneOS project emails to a bunch of email lists and are making accounts with them.

I can't explain why they created some kind of Indian financial service account using my email address and moved a small amount of money into it to make a payment. There's some weird stuff going on alongside the raids they're doing on our chat rooms each day for the past 2 weeks.

Does anyone know what they're trying to accomplish by doing this?
I've sent an email to this company requesting that they delete the account ASAP, but I doubt they will do anything or respond.
What kind of malicious attack or scam are they trying to pull here? I don't get it.

They made this account with my email and either with their own name or a fake name. It seems part of the recent raids and denial of service attacks. This is a real financial service and these aren't spoofed emails. I can't recover and delete account since it requires a phone #.

What I mean is they used my email but their own phone number and verified their account through the phone number. I can't find a way to reset the password or otherwise take advantage of the fact that they used my email to register it. I don't understand what scam they're playing.

I'm thinking they 'own' the company. They've 'registered' your e-mail and made you think there's $30 in it. Many people will do what you're doing. In the process you reveal your mobile no. Now they have enough info to sim swap and maybe hack another acct.

They don't own the company, it's en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freecharge.
I very much doubt that the company is pulling a scam. The emails aren't spoofed and I confirmed the account is real but I can't somehow reset it and delete it. I'm not giving them any info.

I thought I'd be able to use a forgot password flow to gain control over the account and delete it but that doesn't appear to be possible. It's their phone number which they tied to the account. I'm not giving it a phone number. I just thought I could forgot password + delete it.
