IMO: Sure, Librem is running Linux. But that's not so much a positive as its just not a negative. Still missing OpenPGP card, no anti-interdiction services, absolutely no hardening. I've been waiting for years, still missing /major/ app support + now I have to pay for that too.
However, definitely respect their work on Phosh and contributing to Linux kernel. AweSIM program is really cool!

Librem 5 does not have open hardware or firmware despite misleading marketing portraying it that way. It doesn't even provide a secure production SoC configuration or full firmware security updates, let alone proper modern security features in hardware/firmware.
