Transparent hand vacuum with sealing opening works well. Near impossible for them to escape and it helps with cleaning up their web and captured prey.
That's a great approach if you prefer forced population transfer (war crimes) over giving them an honorable death in battle.

If you're fine with war crimes, a single direct spray with oxidizing bathroom cleaner kills them within about 10 seconds and you've conveniently prepared their web, prey and dead body for being wiped up with a paper towel. At least chemical weapons send them to Spider Valhalla.
