I couldn't follow what they were talking about due to the amount of cognitive dissonance and nonsense. Ended up at the end looking at that password / certificate screen and failing to understand how they could have possibly ended up with that as a replacement for QR scanning.

They seemed to be heading in the direction of requiring out-of-band verification to bootstrap and then it went completely off the rails and I could genuinely barely understand what they were talking about. It's like trying to read rt.com articles.
