Every tweet from ppl with a following seems to have 5-10 replies from bots immediately. Asymmetric move from Elon to get the purchase

It's heavily based around cryptocurrency-related scams which is why they focus on impersonating developers and influencers in those areas. It only takes a tiny number of people falling for the scams to make it worth it. Cost of spamming is very low and they get some big paydays.
