CalyxOS leadership and developers can be seen spreading misinformation about GrapheneOS on a daily basis. They can be seen openly supporting and promoting highly abusive people engaged in extreme bullying and harassment. Them denying it and pretending to be above is nothing new.

reddit.com/r/CalyxOS/comm is posted by someone who has repeatedly spread libel about me and has stood by while their employer (Nicolas Merrill) regularly participates in bullying / harassment targeting me. This is not a change in direction but simply more of the same from them.

Having your community endlessly harass us and spread misinformation across platforms which you've created does not make your hands clean. People who have repeatedly told me to kill myself in public are openly welcome in their rooms. Kiwi Farms regulars fit right in over there.

Calyx is heavily focused on earning money for management and the people working there. It may be incorporated as a non-profit but that simply means there are no shareholders. They sell products and focus on marketing. That has included a misinformation campaign to harm others.

They do their marketing well.
When I ditched Apple last August, Calyx popped up first in my look for alternatives.
I found Graphene myself when I did more research, and there are still talks on usability, from the times when Graphene didn't have GS support, I guess.

If you open Reddit, for ex., you see 'Calyx more privacy, less security, but very usable; Graphene is more security, with sacrifized usability', and other outdated shit of this kind, as a red line.
Techlore on YT is doing his job, too.

GrapheneOS always provided far better privacy and they made up a lot of inaccurate claims about it. Especially once we added the sandboxed Google Play compatibility layer and have broader app compatibility with a nicer approach, app compatibility / usability claims are obsolete.

You can see that they've gotten their community organized posting these inaccurate talking points on each thread about GrapheneOS on Reddit, Hacker News, Twitter and elsewhere. The same accounts post the misinformation over and over after it's thoroughly debunked over and over.

They don't bother trying to contest that their claims are wrong. They tend to simply switch to bullying/libel about myself and other people. They claim that their inaccurate talking points being refuted in threads about GrapheneOS and elsewhere is somehow toxic and insanity.
The level of toxicity and malicious behavior from the CalyxOS project and community is astounding. This happens in most threads about GrapheneOS or other places that it's mentioned. There are groups in the CalyxOS community using Discord/Telegram rooms to coordinate the attacks.
