This doesn't work in Canada because they misuse the alert system.

It only makes the air raid siren noise because Canada misuses Presidential Alerts for every single type of wireless alert.
They're supposed to use the Amber Alert level for those, which would still notify you the same way but without the whole urgent air raid siren nonsense.
