I can’t seem to find “over range” microwaves (combination of a microwave and a range hood) in Norway anymore… they used to sell them. I don’t know why they stopped, they are super practical for small kitchens. Seems ikea has them in the US, but not here?

My experience has been that the fan doesn't work properly. The microwave also died and it's too expensive to get it fixed and near impossible to find a replacement (in Canada) especially with a fan that might actually have a hope of getting rid of a decent amount of steam, etc.

I'm fairly amused you WANT one. I'm trying to figure out replacing it with a normal exhaust able to fill the massive area it takes up properly. The cupboard above probably needs to be made bigger while matching the existing ones, which are some custom made thing for these condos.

It's now a terrible cupboard able to spin things while making a horrible dying noise. Can't put anything in there not okay with being heated up to 70C though.
It would be so nice to have a proper cupboard and a real range hood. Also, perhaps a normal human sized fridge...
