I have it in the terminal window titles but I still like having it in the prompt to easily see where I did something in the scrollback.
I also have the Git branch there after committing things to the wrong branch way too many times. I always use short names for those though.

Also, vi mode, since I'm one of those people. My brain can't handle switching between Vim and Emacs key bindings constantly. I have caps lock bound as ctrl and use ctrl-[ to enter command mode so that's pretty convenient.

I wouldn't include user@host if I didn't need to use tons of ssh, but since I do, it's pretty important to reboot my local machine and not the production server. I also color the prompts differently based on the host to help with that one. Can do the same thing with git branches.
