You should file a bug in Clang about lack of compatibility with GCC due to requiring -enable-trivial-auto-var-init-zero-knowing-it-will-be-removed-from-clang to use -ftrivial-auto-var-init=zero. It's supposed to be 1:1 compatible with switches passed for GCC.

Yup, though I'm mainly excited about having the functionality at all. :) We can sort out the nuances as we move forward.
