Thinking about paying for a dedicated server on OVH/Hetzner for contributors to use for development builds since paying for cloud instances for them is starting to be more expensive. Alternative is building a local server using WireGuard via OVH server.

We reached out to them about metal.equinix.com/solutions/oss/ but it got a bit thrown off by Outlook deciding to blacklist our floating IP address, etc. which is now resolved. They said that they apparently have a directive to avoid funding projects involving mobile phones. Don't get it.

Could try to argue that the project is much broader than that: Auditor, hardened_malloc, Vanadium, etc. along with GrapheneOS itself beyond usable on tablets, laptops, etc. if there were good hardware targets for it.
I didn't really feel like investing more time in that though.

My experience trying to get any kind of grants, etc. has been universally negative and I don't really have the motivation to invest any substantial time in it anymore. It's just an endless time sink which has never panned out. All our funding has come from people donating to us.
