It occurs to me that had not dropped “Redis” into the name my entire perspective would have been different. It just feels like “our own thing, but coasting on Redis’ brand.”

Is AWS coasting on Linux’s brand? If not how do Redis and Linux (eg, EC2) differ? Not that I particularly stan AWS, just trying to understand how these things add up.
