Although on iOS, Chrome and others are just skins on the Webkit engine (of Safari)

Yeah, that's just showing a choice between Safari, Microsoft skinned Safari and Google skinned Safari. Other browser vendors are dramatically happier with the situation on Windows compared to iOS, even if they start adding friction to encouraging people to stick with using Edge.
