i'm sorry, but common core math is so pointless. we have these things called calculators now. just teach kids how to use calculators instead of memorizing number lines and multiplication tables.

I am grateful that I will never *ever* have to do long division again. Also, just use decimal fractions instead of messing around finding the lowest common denominator.

docs.python.org/3/library/frac is really nice for doing exact calculations.
I tend to use the Python interpreter as a calculator and I wish docs.python.org/3/library/deci was the standard real number type. The standard integers are big integers after all, and it's going to be slow either way.
