There is a *lot* more to say about this, and I will do so in time. I've been letting the dust settle. The takeaway - your smartphone and laptop are not trustworthy, and neither is a room of students. The problems are *fundamental*. What do we do about this? What do we recommend?

The main thing holding back all of that and developing a hundred more privacy/security improvements are the ongoing attacks on the project including from 2 of the groups you mentioned. Particularly, the one that's simply a clout chasing YouTube influencer organizing raids on us.

Where would GrapheneOS be without the failed corporate takeover attempt, the following years of that company causing harm to us and the past year of 2 of the communities you list above organizing persistent raids and harassment directed towards us? Definitely much further along.
