There is a *lot* more to say about this, and I will do so in time. I've been letting the dust settle. The takeaway - your smartphone and laptop are not trustworthy, and neither is a room of students. The problems are *fundamental*. What do we do about this? What do we recommend?

Multiple developers have had to step back from working on the project due to ongoing harassment and threats made against them in real life. The biggest obstacles have always been scammers/charlatans within the privacy/security industry spreading misinformation and causing harm.

Where would GrapheneOS be without the failed corporate takeover attempt, the following years of that company causing harm to us and the past year of 2 of the communities you list above organizing persistent raids and harassment directed towards us? Definitely much further along.
